I slipped a little in some water on the ramp but I am ok.

FUBeAR’s iPhone spent the entire game on the DL, which was highly problematic in navigating in that sea of alcohol- and testosterone-infused humanity, and in trying to keep up with SoCon/FCS games, but some time in the training room this morning mended most of the issues.

Status for Kennesaw: Probable, but day-to-day

On the bus down to Columbia, we were reminded that there would be 130,000 cell phones within a 4-mile radius of Williams-Brice.

Great question 😉

43 Gilby went out but appeared to return. WHEW. WE ARe already down two ILB. Not just lb. ILB - Achina and Bryce McCOrmick.

Same with 7. Sochovka. Went out and returned I think

I don’t think the big ETSU OL 77 NORMAN played but he was iffy this week anyway…

Only one I saw was Wayne Anderson played maybe one play only? But he played a play or so I think

So I think we are still where we were

That’s not what made FUBeAR’s screen into nothing but a black mirror for the night.

Survive and advance

I haven’t seen Maier yet, either, who is one out our better pass rushers.

Surprised to see Anderson for only one touch. He looked fast and ran well.

Jackal and Astro, thanks for help keeping this updated !

OUT NOW
So starting 55 OL Johanning, out.. Maybe Mercer he is back.
20. Achina at ILB out for year - last years starter who then was replaced by Jalen Miller I think.
31. ILB Bryce McCormick out how long.. vertigo?

IFFY to PROBABLE
77 Norman is still iffy on OL. maybe at KSU or Mercer? Listed for KSU on depth chart.
Per Jackal - and we need pass rush! -Has BAN 46 Alex Maier has not played this year but is listed on KSU depth chart now. Hopefully adds to pash rush - Barton, Stephens, Clark and Maier are key to pass rush so hopefully Maier gets healthy and adds a fresh pass rusher.

Pretty sure I saw all of 75 Toomey and 63 Hughes and …. Thought 9 Wayne Anderson was only in on one play that I noticed at USC? Listed for KSU.

17 Kendall Thomas was out for USC but listed on depth chart for KSU.

--------------------------Trying to keep a list for me

If the OL starts playing strong.. the only concern is that is TWO ILB out - one for year who was a starter last year.. and the other starter who was v good in 2022 is 'indefinite'. So not just two LB.. it is two INSIDE LINEBACKERS.

Think 7 Sochovka DL left and returned during USC game. Same with 43 Gilby ILB that he left and returned.

Several RBs
Grant Robinson RB NBR 28 out year?
RB Kendall Thomas out nbr 17 left Mercer
8 Roberto went to tent left MERCER (lower leg was noted by radio)

Safety 6 Hugh Ryan went out too (lower leg they said)

That’s a lot of quality. Roberto and Ryan all conference etc

Plus I think Roberto is a ‘different’ Bigger back at 230 than most of the next guys. The kind you need to pound the ball between tackles

I think we were down to one of our four RBS ! Sounds like Grant Robinson is done for year… we were down to just 21 Jaquan S by end of game

We need a RB or two to return. Particularly Roberto. Noted as bigger different skill set

Marcus said during the 2nd half that both Dom Roberto and Hugh Ryan were on the sidelines with lower leg injuries. No word on how severe it is.

We have a bye week and then citadel. Hopefully we don’t need any of them for 2 weeks so hopefully they’re minor injuries and everyone will be ready for Samford.

They said during the post-game that they thought both would be back after the bye week. That would be great!
