I know people might not care about this stuff, but if you’re interested, go watch Hedden’s highlights from their exhibition game. I added it to the first post.

I’m definitely not an expert but I felt like there were some real high level throws in there. He threw a couple of beautiful balls on the run for TD’s.

Hedden is a big dude, he can put touch on the ball, and then zip it… impressive.

I feel the same way sometimes, but a lot of kids do it after committing and the majority of kids don’t flip after they commit so . Recruiting timelines have changed as well. A lot of teams/recruits are done with recruitment by the time the season comes along now. Probably not fair to expect them to not post anything during their senior season.

Admittedly, my game film was on VHS. I suspect that if I had access to social media and a good game tape, I'd probably have shared it too.

Not sure if anyone is watching ESPN tonight. Lipscomb Academy is playing. Our roster shows that we have 2 players from Lipscomb Academy.

I’ll try to post more commit updates as I find them.

JGH had 197 yards on 19 carries including 2 52 yard TD runs. He also had one catch for 14 yards. For him to be putting up these kind of numbers in high level GA football is pretty impressive!

Gavin Hall continues to fill up the stat sheet!

“The Red Elephants grabbed the lead last in the first quarter on a Gavin Hall 21-yard TD. Hall finished the night with 179 yards on 23 carries and caught six passes for 95 yards. He hauled in a 54-yard touchdown.”

Can’t find stats yet but saw a live stream of part of Hedden’s game. Don’t think the competition was too stout, but he laid in two perfectly thrown 40+ yard TDs and ran for one before being pulled in the 3rd quarter.

I really like what Furman has done at the o-line this year. They are all super high upside kids with good frames. OL recruiting is usually hit or miss, but I certainly have high hopes for the 3 commits so far (O’Dell, Gregorek, and Akinsola). Of the 4 linemen who were here for the VIP day, Furman has commits from 3 of them with Stewart committing to W&M.

Also, for the Furman doesn’t recruit SC crew, we’re never going to have a roster with over 50% SC guys but we do have 3 commits just from the upstate at this point with at least one offer still out to the other DT from Greenville HS (name escapes me at the moment). Not bad by recent standards!

Jackson Pryor had a nice night with 3 catches for 92 yards and a TD

Gavin Hall had 2 scores (8 and 2 yards) but Gainesville didn’t need much from him. They were up 63-0 at half.

Santino Varvel and Canyon View lost 70-61 but couldn’t find any stats.

Steven O’Dell and Broome beat Berea 58-6

Chase Gregorek and TL Hanna beat Wren 35-23

Noah Akinsola and Reedy won 35-28.

Malaki Dobbins and Southern Nash held Nash Central to 61 yards of total offense and won 22-8. Haven’t found individual stats yet.

Jordan Miller and Arabia Mountain were supposed to play Druid Hills on 9/14 but I can’t find a score anywhere. Here are his senior year highlights to this point though.

Fredrick Logan and Pine Forest picked up their first win of the year last week. Not a lot out there stat-wise but Logan does a bit of everything for them. Runs, receives, plays DB, and returns kicks.

Bruce Knauber had 6 tackles and a sack in GHS’s 21-19 win over JL Mann. Bruce leads the team in sacks with 4.5. FU target Jayden Wilson-Abrams leads the team in tackles at the other DT spot.

Jalin Edwards and Grissom lost to Bob Jones 28-10

Paladins offer Omarr Brown. 6 offers since September from Furman, Penn, Princeton, Lehigh, Army, and Bowling Green.

6’3”, 170 with a 4.56 40 and 10.83 100 meters. 42” vertical. Listed as a CB/WR.

Furman still has at least two offers out to DB’s in Kevin Dodard and Tre Brown to go along with the two commits so far. Seems like they are looking to take at least 3-4 to go along with the 3 (?) that signed last year.
