That is a really strong non-conference schedule for a mid-major in my opinion. Chances for a couple of upsets, one really good home game, and plenty of winnable home and away mid-major/low-major games. I'm really excited for this season.

I agree, it is shaping up to be a pretty good schedule. If we could get one more "name" game that would be nice.

The OOC home schedule known so far is Loyola & CIU in November, & NGU in December.
Apparently that may be all.
Does anyone expect for any more OOC home games to be scheduled? If so, how many more?

By the way, CIU is same conference as Point University, our football opponent the next day.

We more that likely will play SC Upstate at home as a return game for going there last year. I expect one more non-D1 game for our our normal 3 non-D1 games. That would give us 5 home games and I expect to have at least one more. We will have 13 OOC games this year if we can get someone to play us. A total of 31 games.

We also played them at their place in the first round of the 2017 CIT Tournament. We don't need to travel to Hodge Center anytime soon.

GoPaladins.com is the latest iteration of The Unofficial Furman Football Page. Launched in August of 1996, The UFFP welcomes fans of all FCS football teams - and fans of the more inferior sports, too - for discussion, cameraderie, and even the occasional smack talk.

For example, Furman has nearly twice as many Southern Conference football championships as the next best SoCon member, and over three times as many as The Citadel....which is why they must carry our luggage
