We lost @ ETSU
We lost @ UNCG
This is our last chance to beat one of the top 3 SoCon teams on the road

So we're going to have to surprise 3 or 4 teams at tournament time, or else be disappointed once again, by having the 39th consecutive year of absence from the NCAA tournament (1981 through 2019) and by having the 45th consecutive year since winning a game in the NCAA tournament (our one and only ever, 1974).
Good idea.tya1 wrote: ↑Sun Jan 13, 2019 7:18 pmThere are some lawyers on this board aren't there? Can we get a cease and desist order to prevent whining, handwringing, and self pity around here?
At least until sometime AFTER the season. The moaning over a 15-3 record with all 3 losses being on the road as underdogs is ridiculous.

Would just have to surprise 2 if we finish 4th or 5th. First game would be against either the 4 or 5th place team and then would only have two games against either WC, ET or UNCG. 3 games total to win the tourney which is the least amount anyone can win to win it. Lower than 5 then yes it would be 3 surprises needed.affirm wrote: ↑Sun Jan 13, 2019 5:20 pmSo we're going to have to surprise 3 or 4 teams at tournament time, or else be disappointed once again, by having the 39th consecutive year of absence from the NCAA tournament (1981 through 2019) and by having the 45th consecutive year since winning a game in the NCAA tournament (our one and only ever, 1974).
So if we finish 5th and are playing 4th place team, we would not consider winning that game a surprise?apaladin wrote: ↑Sun Jan 13, 2019 8:47 pmWould just have to surprise 2 if we finish 4th or 5th. I believe this website is based in Georgia, which would be outside your jurisdiction.CharlieFU wrote: ↑Mon Jan 14, 2019 8:05 amHEREBY GRANTED!tya1 wrote: ↑Sun Jan 13, 2019 7:18 pmThere are some lawyers on this board aren't there?
