On the topic of next year, have there been any real or rumored coaching changes? I haven’t heard about any so I guess we are one of the few programs around that is completely satisfied with the entire staff’s performance. Pretty good place to work.

Your snarkiness aside, there are plenty of open coaching vacancies around the country, including at some power 5 programs. There is an open head coaching job in the SoCon. I'm sure the coaching carousel has not yet really begun to spin at the assistant level, especially for G5 and FCS programs.

Besides, a good chunk of the coaching staff is relatively new. Most of the staff is in their first or second year coaching their respective position groups (DL, OLB, TE, RB, OL).

About Us

GoPaladins.com is the latest iteration of The Unofficial Furman Football Page. Launched in August of 1996, The UFFP welcomes fans of all FCS football teams - and fans of the more inferior sports, too - for discussion, cameraderie, and even the occasional smack talk.

For example, Furman has nearly twice as many Southern Conference football championships as the next best SoCon member, and over three times as many as The Citadel....which is why they must carry our luggage
