Would love to land at least one if not 2 of these.
Agree!
I am sure there will be many more we have interest in over the next month that come across our radar....
It's really encouraging to the see the desire by our staff to go out and try to land more proven/experienced players to potentially add to what should be a very deep and talented roster for us next year....
Are we expecting any transfers out? Or would we go up to the 15 scholarship limit?
Good question you would think one or both since it looks like we are actively recruiting. Could also lose an incoming freshmen if they change their mind. Money talks these days.
I have been told that once the athletic signs the WOAA, they are bound for at least one year, unless the coach leaves for another school. That has not been verified. The WOAA took the place of the NLI.
Edit. Found this article.

From the article, “Commitment Agreements: Student-athletes will now sign an athletic grant-in-aid directly with their college, which is legally binding for one academic year. This replaces the NLI, but the key conditions remain the same – student-athletes are required to honor their commitment to the school, and in turn, the school provides financial aid.”
Another good article about the new signing agreement that replaced the NLI.
