Snatched victory from the jaws of defeat. It’s not like WCU played over their head. They shot 33%, 6% below their average and 26% from 3, 3% below their average. Nick Anderson would not let them lose.

Glad we got the win. Western is playing much better than 5 weeks ago. Kid from Rock Hill (Kell?) was a handful. And, I gotta say, we might have benefitted from a few calls late.

Chalk up another late second half comeback win. Don't have the comparable numbers right at hand but it certainly beats what happened last season. WCU led for about 6 of the last 7 and a half minutes of regulation last night - by as much as 8 points. Love the heart this team shows.

It’s a great record to have in those tight games that hopefully will pay off. To be fair we’ve had a few close wins where our last several positions were a head-scratching mess. But if we play connected like Coach Richey talks about and scoring isn’t all on the shoulders of PJay and Anderson…then we have a decent chance in Asheville.
Don't know if anyone else noticed - Marcus Kell, 6'8" soph. from Rock Hill for WCU has been on a tear the month of February. He was averaging about 7 points before, but is getting 19 ppg and 8 rebounds the past 8 games. Named SoCon POW the past two weeks. Maybe PJ's 32 point game will give him an edge for the next POW. averaged about 2 ppg last year. Shows how fast someone can go from nobody to star.
