Rally need a consistent third double figure scoring option to emerge...... Just not sure where that will come from at this point..............

Also Hughey started 20 games last season, and now does not play some games, wish we played him more especially with our rebounding struggles......

SoCon stats:
https://soconsports.com/mbb/stats/

Its going to be a much different looking league next season, 19 of the top 25 scorers are all seniors........

I'd imagine the other 6 leading scorers in the top 25 could be transfer targets lol.............

Next season the majority of the older college hoops covid guys will be out of the system, the only few in college basketball that will still remain from covid would be guys that have had a redshirt/medical redshirt year since then..........

"Furman (15-4, 3-3 SoCon) hits the road for a pair of games this coming week. The Paladins travel to Lexington, Va., to take on VMI at 6 p.m. on Wednesday before facing the Mercer Bears on Saturday, January 25, at Hawkins Arena in Macon, Ga."

Should win, but won’t be shocked if we don’t. VMI is better than Citadel and WCU. They shoot it as good as FU. Expect a difficult game in a mostly empty gym.

ESPN still in love with the Paladins. 82% chance of winning,

This is a important week for us guys, if we step up and show out we can get this thing rolling again!

2 big road wins would give us about the most road wins in the country and get us to 17-4 for the first time ever under Bob Richey................

BRING ON VMI!

Agree, big week. Drop either one of these and the rest of the season just becomes trying to avoid the play-in game which will be hard to do with a loss this week. Win both and it sets up a big home game next Wednesday.

Vegas has FU favored -7.5
They are 3-3 at home in D1 games, with their 3 home losses by a total of 7 points so too many points.
Home losses: Tenn. Tech by 1, Queens by 3, Mercer by 3.
Home wins: Charleston Southern by 11, WCU by 16, Citadel by 5.
