Looks like the ceiling has been painted as well as the old sideline basketball nets. Seems that the seats will be retractable which means the floor will likely been all wood and will make room for a couple of practice courts

Looking great!
Only about 10 months to go :D
SD thinks it was supposed to be done by May. That gives them plenty of time to practice and get acquainted

Would also be great for recruiting. With the bas weather maybe it gets put out a couple months but still

10 Months To Go!

Please make sure there is a place for the Jazz-Rock band.
I might wanna stop by one day and jam with them for old times sake.
:)

Have no doubt that Timmons is going to be very nice but it should seat more eveidenced by the 4,367 at the Well on a Monday night. Better to have the seats when you need them than to not hwve them. Of course if we continue to suck it will be too big.

It will be the right size to have a full arena most nights, and remember we can still play Wofford or anybody else that can draw 4,000+ downtown at Bon Secours Arena........... ;)

I am looking forward to getting our home court advantage back. I know I am in the minority, but I don't like going to games at the cold and sterile BSA.

I get what your saying, however..................
If its 1 or 2 games a year that we can draw a large crowd its worth it...................

I really enjoy the games at the Well. I suspect we will be done playing games at the Well after this season at least for a while.

Not necessarily, could still wind up playing Wofford there every year and maybe a Power school (like Auburn this year but hopefully regular season)

About Us

GoPaladins.com is the latest iteration of The Unofficial Furman Football Page. Launched in August of 1996, The UFFP welcomes fans of all FCS football teams - and fans of the more inferior sports, too - for discussion, cameraderie, and even the occasional smack talk.

For example, Furman has nearly twice as many Southern Conference football championships as the next best SoCon member, and over three times as many as The Citadel....which is why they must carry our luggage

GoPaladins.com is not affiliated with Furman University or its athletics programs.
