Gf please stop doing this. When you send a pm the person gets notified when they visit the board. Imagine if everyone added a new thread every time they sent someone a message. If they don’t respond, send another one. If they don’t respond after that they may not want to.
Bootie, I get it. I hear you. And I agree. I wish I didn’t have to do this. . but many people just don’t check for PMs or look in that area. And later those same people have apologized to me for not checking them as it is just not their habit. They tell me things like “I just give a quick scan of the board and so I missed your PM. Sorry”. Plus some are time sensitive (not always football related) and they don’t see them for 2 months. Didn't think the UFFP would have me back, perhaps. Well, maybe I'm not "the norm". I don't "wear clothes that fit me". I'm not "hygienic" and "pop my white heads with a compass I used in high school".
Then how about waiting until the person doesn’t answer their message request before you create a thread about it? You sent me a PM and then immediately created a thread. Give a person a chance. Sometimes if I want to contact a person I get all nutty. For example, I'll pick up the phone and call them. Or maybe I'll get a wild hair and send them an email or text them. I'm crazy that way.
I never get any PMs from GF. Indeed, I haven't had a PM from anyone in a year (but I did have a BM yesterday). I'm feeling neglected. It hurts being considered a non-person.
