Truth is, I am not sure that the admin at UF were ever that close to ditching him. I think he at least got anther year. Lot of this garbage is media driven.

But hey, last couple weeks ... he's all good now.

I am always in favor of giving a guy 3-4 years. His system, his guys etc. Hope he makes it. Regardless I am still jealous - FAIL and make 40 million !!! LITERALLY FAIL and win the lottery.. made a few million at Louisiana.. 7? Million per year at UF.. going into his 4th year so that's 28 million. If he gets fired he has an additonal 10 million of so. 40 million if he fails next year.

His team never lost their fight to win during the bad times and they are very enthusiastic also, they seem to like to play for him. His interractions on the sidelines with his players suggest Billy is the very definition of a "player's coach".
