Seattle starts: 2 at 6’8” 2 at 6’3” and one at 6’0”. They have 4 players averaging between 9.8 and 14 ppg. so pretty balanced. They use their bench much like FU.

#6) Furman: The Paladins continued to look impressive in its blowout road win over Charleston Southern. Interesting note, Charleston Southern has the smallest basketball venue in D1. Furman has an intriguing game vs Seattle on Tuesday before it gets a shot at Kansas on Saturday. A big week ahead.

Not only does CSU have the smallest d1 basketball facility but the worst d1 football stadium too. Most hs gyms are better and some church gyms. Funny they call it the Buc dome, its just a butler building. Looked it up and their endowment is only 24.4 million. I guess that explains a lot why they have the worst facilities in d1. BTW we have 2 wins against the top 25. Look for cofc to fall out, they lost to URI by 38:Sunday. Ouch! One other note our third leading scorer is playing less than 14 minutes a game. 😳

That poll came out at midnight last night, so he already factored in that CofC loss, he had them 13th before that loss.....
Also interesting to see Princeton (who we play next week) drop out after not doing very well in the Myrtle Beach Invitational........

Seattle vs Furman
Furman shooting 0.509% vs Seattle's 0.455%
FU opponents shooting 0.370 vs SU's opponents shooting 0.490
3 pt% - FU - 0.419 vs 0.387 for SU
Avg Rebounds/game: FU - 41 vs SU - 33.2
Avg pts: FU - 87.3 vs SU - 77.0
Avg Opp pts: FU - 58.3 vs SU - 71.4

Looking at stats on paper, we have the edge, but important to note that Seattle has played better competition. Seattle doesn't have a ton of size so we need to take advantage of that on the board.
