Gotta love playing for a fg there. Run the ball to kill the clock and take a timeout to the locker room.

In spite of all our issues, we are tied 10 all at half. Defense is playing well enough to win. Offense can play well enough to win. I truly believe fixing or not fixing the snap issue will be the difference.

Bad snaps have KILLED 3 drives already! Coaches need to fix obvious problems! They are derelict of duty at this point!
Cole Neely, former Furman center and a friend of mine is doing the TV broadcast today and he has been pointing this out all game. It totally upsets the timing on running plays. There is absolutely no excuse for this. It’s like making less than 50% of your foul shots in BB. If we don’t have a center who can block and snap the ball at the same time, we need to get under center more. We wasted at least 6 offensive plays in the first half. That is just ridiculous.

You know, I’m a self-proclaimed glass half full. Continuing to have these kind of snaps is a coach issue.

SNAP THE BALL CORRECTLY. FOR THE LOVE OF HUMANITY We would probably be ahead 7 points if we could snap the ball. I have literally never seen a team that couldn’t snap a ball. This is worse than high school. Either switch the center or do something. Quit doing the same thing and expecting a different result.

PLEASE SNAP THE BALL CORRECTKY. PLEEEEEEEEZE

Like 1 and 1 free throws those 6 plays don’t count 5he plays we would have had if we snap correctly and extend drives. Like the 4th down run. Those low snaps have probably cost us 10 plays and 7 points so far

The snaps from Center appear fine to me. I think they could be improved by figuring a way for the ball to travel towards the direction the quarterback expects, such as his hands. Its likely a physics issue.

Woffy is taking shots down the field and we insist on passing behind the line of scrimmage. Snaps aside, that is the difference right now.

The roughing the passer wasn’t even close. A blind ref makes that call. Gift wraps a TD.

Carson throws most of his passes towards the sideline. These passes are hard to complete and receivers are never open. Throw it in the middle of the field to your tight end

About Us

GoPaladins.com is the latest iteration of The Unofficial Furman Football Page. Launched in August of 1996, The UFFP welcomes fans of all FCS football teams - and fans of the more inferior sports, too - for discussion, cameraderie, and even the occasional smack talk.

For example, Furman has nearly twice as many Southern Conference football championships as the next best SoCon member, and over three times as many as The Citadel....which is why they must carry our luggage
