Furman basketball's biggest rival is Furman football.

Since Wofford went to Division 1 they lead the series 23-19.
Their first 12 seasons FU led 14-10.
The next 7 seasons we were 2-12 against them.
The last 3 seasons 3-4 against them with one to play.
So the last 10 seasons we are 5-16 against them
Just goes to show how bad we were from 08-15.
The above does not include tournament games.
Edit: Odd but WC/FU have met only one time in the tourney in 20+ years. The one five years ago in the finals.

Hopefully by March 10 or 11, 2019, our current 10-year record against them will improve to 7-17. (And hopefully by the end of 2019-2020 season, we will get to 23-23 against them since the time they got to D1: and get to >50% by the end of the 2020 conf tourney if we play them in that one. Yes, I am hoping for 5+ consecutive wins against Wofford. If that’s too steep, then I will hope we can get to >50% against them by the end of the season 2021 or 2022. Am I asking too much?)
I expect we will get a chance against them in this year’s conf tourney, in addition to Feb 23.

Being happy that Furman has been better overall the last 4 years (as I have already laid out) than Wofford and expecting that to continue to be the case is a good place for you start
