Our offense should look like the VMI first drive. Short, quick passes. Less pressure on the OL. Then take some shots. 8 is Roper’s man. I recall quotes after he committed saying he would was told he’d be competing for the starting job and would have a shot. Some

Baffled me how lobbed, floating and rolling snaps are better than what 72 or 61 can do. 72 got one series at LG. The QB needs crisp snaps. Doesn’t need to even wondering pre-snap when and where the snap is headed his way.

Paladins in a nutshell. Thank goodness we don’t have any other winless teams on the schedule. 3 more losses left but at least this is the last really embarrassing one. I wonder if there are any oher teams that are the only win for 2 teams. Most likely not.

We have gone from being #9 nationally ranked preseason to one of the worst scholarship teams in the country.........

We knew there was going to be some rebuilding this season, but we are also down to our third or fourth man on the depth chart at multiple positions.

It is what it is, but this isn't some systemic rot. We've just got a really young team and a lot of injuries. It hasn't helped that since Hendrix took over, we've had a number of scholarship QBs transfer out, which always seems to leave us with a young QB.

We put all the chips in last season.

I'm wondering if the coaches probably wouldn't have rotated more young guys last year. Hard to play the young guys, though, when competing for a title.

Amazing how much better our offense looks with Hall's ability to run the ball. The defense is having to play on its heels a bit knowing he can move multiple directions quickly.
