We do have a shocking amount of TE height inside the 10. I'm not sure I wouldn't try to loft the ball to them too.
We seem to have gone away with from the outside zone run with Robinson and Hicks in favor or more power/man blocking schemes they are better suited for.

Hate that we have gone away from tradition with the unis. Those unis look as bad as the team plays. 4th and 2 first hit is 3 yds behind the line and back just runs over 5 defenders for the first down. VMI has scored 39 total points against 4 SoCon opponents, averaging under 10. Way above that pace today as expected.

I agree. Hedden can throw the ball long and that is about. He is simply not athletic enough for that position these days. Nothing to do with inexperience. If Jones is not any better then we need to bring in a QB next year. They need to take both starting backs out and play Halll a lot more. The kid runs to daylight. I have been begging for him all year. No DO IT

He's a freshman who has basically played without a run game all season and a brand new offensive line.
I said this preseason, but there's a reason you don't want to have to play freshman QBs. If you are going to do it, you have to exist through the early years to reap the benefits as a junior and senior.
