I’m just wanting to see if we can score/shoot. We lost over 71 percent of the scoring from last year. We have one player that scored in double figures last year and that was exactly 10.

Same... Its going to be an interesting season...
But its never a bad time to plug our big 'Top 15' wins over the power schools of hoops, something that will never happen in football ;)

I hope we get quality minutes for a bunch of players in this exhibition game. I'm sure we'll see plenty of 3 point attempts, but I really do hope we attempt to drive the ball inside and get quality passes to our big men. My concern is depth at the point guard position - I think PJ will make the transition, but I'm somewhat concerned about a backup. I'm guessing Bronson will play some PG if healthy, but beyond him, our other guards appear to be natural #2s. I think this is where the loss of Sullinger hurts most.

Still don’t understand the ticket selling strategy. Opening one or 2 sections at a tme and then selling only a couple of rows in those sections. For example if I were buying tickets I might not want to sit in the corner but might like to sit in the upper level at halfcourt. They are just not giving people any options. It’s for charity so you would think the would want to encourage ticket sales, not discourage by not giving people an option to where they want to sit.

Let's hope Bronson is going to be 100% soon!

About Us

GoPaladins.com is the latest iteration of The Unofficial Furman Football Page. Launched in August of 1996, The UFFP welcomes fans of all FCS football teams - and fans of the more inferior sports, too - for discussion, cameraderie, and even the occasional smack talk.

For example, Furman has nearly twice as many Southern Conference football championships as the next best SoCon member, and over three times as many as The Citadel....which is why they must carry our luggage
