I've stopped watching the games and we've got problems...
But some of you need to chill.
IMHO if you have already stopped watching the games you have no right to tell people that actually go to the games to chill. Just sayin’
IMHO we have a stupidly young team, that went through a very unexpected players death this spring, arguably one of our star players is no longer with the football team, and
Furman was just hit with a once in a thousand year natural disaster.
I would love Furman to win the remainder of their games but I'm not judging the state of the program or the coaches on any of this.
I understand it is our right to be frustrated as fans but maybe I've become desensitized to fans saying the sky is falling because they do that regardless of how many games Furman wins.
I haven't read the thread, but win or lose, we'll have folks complaining. It's always something. I ignore them. They are going to complain regardless of what the team does.
Not true. WESTERN NORTH CAROLINA - meaning
WCU. had a once in a thousand year natural disaster - NOT FURMAN. but their team looks just fine. Furman was classified as once a century storm. Not once in a thousand years. . Western North Carolina was once per 1000 years. I know that facts ruin arguments but let’s keep with Facts
Like if people said we had 25 injuries. Instead of 15. please use FACTS.
This post of a “once in a thousand year disaster” is the one to ignore. It’s just WRONG. Upstate was once per hundred years. Cmon. Losing power for 5 days doesn’t excuse this football. If anything, compared to Western NC (!!!!!!!!) we have no excuse. That stuff - lake Lure etc - was horrible
Injuries. Maybe.
