dont know if this has been said already, but early on with a new center the snap was very slow. The TV announcers said the same thing. This allowed the D line to get ahead of the play all day.. IMHO

Yes on almost every play..very easy to notice that..good comment
Dude we gave up 808 yards today. The D is NOT ok. It’s more than the chunk plays. It’s bad angles, lack of foot speed and agility, and poor tackling.
Bell is a prick. No sugar coating that.wcugrad95 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 19, 2024 5:32 pmTough stuff for Furman right now with the injuries and youth. Hard to sit through it, but these young guys will get a lot better. I remember several season where it seemed like half the guys Western had on the field were FR or RS FR. Hendrix is a helluva coach and he’ll get to work on your running game - it is just going to take time.
No doubt Bell wanted to get to 50. His message from last week was this team needed to get more of a step on your opponent’s throat mentality. I think this was just bad timing for Furman and your injuries to be playing Western.
Yep. That’s pretty bad to say. As head Coach you are the leader. At least say “we promise to go back to the drawing board and seek some answers !”
Wish I had stayed home with you.Paul C wrote: ↑Sat Oct 19, 2024 5:51 pmWCU with 808 yards of total offense.
Yes I know we are young. Yes I know we have injury issues.
But we are horrible. Everyone associated with this program should be tremendously embarrassed by the last couple of weeks.
And the worst part is there is no reason for optimism of any sort.
Glad I skipped making the drive out to Paladin Stadium today.
