• Long offseason

Not sure why, but this has seemed like the longest offseason ever. I think last year we all knew who was coming back with the departure of Bothwell and Slaw, and we had relatively high expectations for what would become a disappointing season. Despite the quality of our offseason recruits, I know there’s a lot of curiosity surrounding how this team will gel this fall. Not sure why, but these unknowns seem to be contributing to an ultra-long offseason, at least for me. Nonetheless, I’m confident that CBR is molding a quality group of young men who will compete at the highest level next year. Hopefully, we’ll be hearing a lot more on team cohesiveness in the weeks ahead. Basketball can’t get here soon enough. Go Paladins!

I feel you, and I also feel like it's taken a while to figure out our schedule too. Even D1docket.com hasn't gotten anything.

Have been thinking the same, but also thinking that maybe it's for the best and the team will perform better without feeling pressure from all the hype (so to speak)...

Just get out there and work, work, work baby!

Last year the league schedule was announced on 8-24 and non-conference on 9-15 but of course we already had figured out the ooc schedule by then.

Thanks for the video. So I guess now teams can practice as much in the off season as they want?

It’s been that way for several years. There is really no off season.

You may be right but I don’t think full scale practices were allowed. Player workouts, players could play together without coaches, maybe individual player/coach etc but full scale practices were not allowed just like football practices practices are limited.
