Best info I had this afternoon was there was no change, still on life support, but that each day that things don't go bad his chances get better. But people are mostly quiet, still not completely clear what the issue is, and it really doesn't matter just that we keep praying for him to get to a place in this where he becomes stable enough to really be treated.

Very sad. I hear he had a stroke and was on life support for awhile but did not regain consciousness . I heard it from one of his teammates earlier today but did not feel it was my place to announce it. They are just devastated by this. Practices have been suspended of course. A very fine and popular young man I hear. God rest his soul. Deepest condolences to his family.

Any word on whether this was an official team practice? Wasn’t Spring practice supposed to start yesterday, Feb 8? This occurred on Wednesday morning at the stadium. Someone mentioned to me the possibility of an NCAA violation but I’m unaware of what constitutes an official team practice.
