Both teams coming off horrible games but at least UNCG got blown out by a good D1 team on the road whereas FU lost at home to a D2 team with a losing record.

UNCG's best player has been out - injured, I suppose - for several games. Mikael Brown-Jones, 6'8 230 senior, was the leading scorer with over 19 ppg, the leading rebounder with 7.4 per game and the leading shot blocker with 12 for the season. His points average is about 5 ppg better than the #2 guy. His rebound average is almost as many as the next two players and his blocked shots total is about as many as the next three guys combined.

UNCG was on a seven game winning streak until he went out. Since then they are 1-3 and have not won a D1 game.

Interesting. We are down our top 2 scorers and they are down their top scorer. We know one of ours won’t play Wednesday and maybe 2. I’m betting their’s will be back.

after presser, think Dins wll be ready for UNCG. At least they will play hard

If AU had been a blowout not sure they would be as ready for UNCG. Trading L for AY vs W at UNCG is fair

wouldnt be surpised to see HUghey back in starting lineup.

Go Dins

Just like CBR after his worse loss ever to have his best show/presser ever. We are so fortunate to have him. I have no doubt he will do everything he can do to right the ship. May succeed, may not but it won’t be from lack of effort on his part.

Guys giving it their best shot. Molnar +/- leads at 7. Though no points, he's got a block, a steal, and 3 out of the team's total 10 rebounds. Go 'Dins!!

GoPaladins.com is the latest iteration of The Unofficial Furman Football Page. Launched in August of 1996, The UFFP welcomes fans of all FCS football teams - and fans of the more inferior sports, too - for discussion, cameraderie, and even the occasional smack talk.

For example, Furman has nearly twice as many Southern Conference football championships as the next best SoCon member, and over three times as many as The Citadel....which is why they must carry our luggage
