9PM our time so prime time Furman Football. This will be great as it will be the only game on.
On ESPN2. https://gogriz.com/news/2023/12/3/footb ... arterfinal
I’m seeing two conflicting posts… griz website says 7pm MT and a graphic from furman on Facebook says 7pm ET. Another furman link says 9pm ET so I’m guessing that’s prolly the correct time??
The Facebook graphic shows 9:00 ET.

Flight booked, room booked… personal bucket list trip.
After we lost to IWC last year I told myself if Furman plays at Montana next year you're going.
My Dad grew up in Missolua, he loved it as a kid, and now as good a time as any to visit Missolua.

If anyone wants to meet up for some coffee Friday morning hit me with a DM.

I spent the night in Missoula once driving through. Nice town. I'm sure it will be a fun trip.

Interested to know how much prep work we've done on Montana. I suppose with a bye week and a familiar second round opponent, we probably had a little more flexibility to do that.

With a short week and cross country flight, we aren't going to have too much time to get ready for them. Of course, same for them.

Also have to mentally prepare for playing at nearly midnight local time. We haven't played a night game in months, much less one starting at 9pm.

Erin Wissing will be excited to learn of your offer to fund the provision of cold weather gear for Paladin Football. You should probably contact her ASAP!

ESPN website confirms it at 9pm our time. Better than Villanova at South Dakota St that kick of off at 10AM MT/12ET
Other games:
NDSU @ SD 2:30 ET
Abany @ Idaho 10 ET.

I bet Coach Hendrix would have loved a noon ET kickoff.

My money going to Timmons, so you're telling me we will be wearing Gamecock gear again then?

I would have preferred a noon game Saturday (10 degrees plus warmer) but it is what it is? If you could borrow cold weather gear, that seems almost better than buying something you might use once in 4 years? Will be interesting to see how it all shakes out. Will have to execute well and play our best game of the year but we can do it.

If you wanna be the man, you gotta beat the man.

Remember, Wofford went up there in the playoffs and won on their field. Wofford.

Our team has spent the past four weeks in the upstate (bye, two home games, and a short trip to Spartanburg). I gotta imagine they're gonna relish the chance to go show what they've got against Montana.

Besides, we owe them one.
I think FUBeAR disproved this. In FCS this just isn’t the case. One we all know a good start in the polls allows you an advantage. One that we had this year

Also isn’t. Montana ONE AND FIFTEEN in the road? So they win titles without “beating the man”. So does NDSU. They never leave home and win championships.

I have no desire to play harder teams on the road. FUBeAR has shown how this - road games vs tough teams - is NOT the way to the title.

The way to the title is easy playing easy teams played at your field.

As someone here posts. We were dead in 2006 when they announced Furman at Montana State
