Our OL is probably the most over-rated group on this team. With he exception of a couple of games we have not been able to run the ball. There are certainly no complaints about the D. The D has played championship football all year especially the last half.

With two of the top two teams losing to bottom feeders today the SoCon will probably just get 2 teams in, Still think FU will get a seed and bye. Even if we get an easy first game and win the second game is now assured to be in the frozen tundra.

One time Carson DID Run and it was wide open with ONE dude on d and he ran RIGHT INTO THE ONLY WOFFORD GUY ANYWHERE NEAR HIM. my buddy said “was our qb TRYING to get tackled???

Just thoughts:
1. We played with fire and finally got burned.
2. Our defense was championship caliber again. They forced a bunch of turnovers and were hurt by one busted play on a tackle. Can't really fault anything the defense did.
3. The offense had a terrible day. We've seen this play out a few times over the season, but things just looked out of synch. Our Freshman QB was missing throws. We dropped the ball. And that played right into Wofford's plans to fly everyone up against the run.
4. Even when things went right, they wen't wrong. With that last forced fumble, for instance, Dimaggio jumped on the ball not realizing Gilby was right behind him ready to pick up the ball and waltz into the end zone. It was just that kind of game.
5. It's probably worth remembering that Furman was already at the best-ever run of winning in SoCon play. We knew it was going to catch us eventually, and today was that day. It's really hard to win in this conference as many times as we have.
