Yes this is a potential trap game. However, all these graduate and fifth year seniors are back for one goal. They want a ring and a deep run in the playoffs and eventual Natty!!

Has Huff already decided about what he will do next season?
I know he can come back for a 6th season due to covid year and 4 game redshirt year.......

Ah ok, did he not get a redshirt in 2021 when he only played in 4 games?

According to his bio, under 2021:

My clear understanding from the staff is that he does have one more year of eligibility but has too many other obligations to come back.
As great as it would be to have him back, I can also see how that makes sense

That explains why Furman says he has two years, but the math suggests he could have three.

Captain obvious here but it’s the perfect trap situation. Coming off 2 huge road wins and a championship on the line next week.
It is worth noting. See Loouisvulle after beating Notre Dame they went (undefeated) and lost to a not good Pitt team as it happens EVERY WEEK - next week is UTC for us. We are in the drivers seat and the 3 non-UTC teams are extra weak which helps so no copmlaints. But in a perfect world UTC would be another week away maybe. i dont know. Much more than that is Of the teams that ended up best - FU / WCU / UTC we have both on the road. I do wish we could swap ETSU away and UTC home...

But it helps that the traps are particularly weak this year. I mean, honestly, if we don't beat ETSU at home, well, I am not going to bat that we are top 10. They are not good and pretty banged up as I understand it.

GoPaladins.com is the latest iteration of The Unofficial Furman Football Page. Launched in August of 1996, The UFFP welcomes fans of all FCS football teams - and fans of the more inferior sports, too - for discussion, cameraderie, and even the occasional smack talk.

For example, Furman has nearly twice as many Southern Conference football championships as the next best SoCon member, and over three times as many as The Citadel....which is why they must carry our luggage
