SDSU just went up 7-0 over S Illinois.

Furman doing exactly what it needs to do.

The offense is moving the ball well. Nearly 300 yards at the half. Approaching 200 rushing yards. WCU hasn't really been able to eliminate anything. Keep pounding on them.

Defensively, we are forcing them to sort of dink their way down the field and limiting the big plays. WCU averages nearly 8 yards per play this season, and they're under 6 today.

Both teams know that this is going to be all gas until the end of the game. Furman is well aware this team isn't going to go away. Keep scoring. Keep making stops.

If western is to blame I am at a loss of words. What a momunmental failure for them and their program. This game is one of the first major games they have played but yet they have found a way to screw it up. I hope they get their act together on and off of the field.

I mentioned the replay in response to the post about the TV announcers continuing to call the game. Daniel Hooker is who typically would provide the TV call for WCU home games, and they just had him as a guest on the WCU radio coverage. Don't know if that was just him on a break or not. If not, that would make me think if ESPN provided announcers then they have more control of the production. But I have no idea. The Western folks want to be seeing this game just as bad as you guys.
