Affirm's inane rantings aside, out of curiosity I looked at how Furman has done recently against teams with poor Pomeroy rankings (below #175 or so - sub D-I omitted):

2017: 13-2 (one loss at home, one away)
2018: 16-1 (one away loss in OT)
2019: 4-0

That 33-3 includes some pretty solid mid-major opponents like UNC-Asheville and Tenn Tech last year, that were good in their conference but a bit below the midway point of Division I overall. Of course, one would expect a pretty good record against the weaker opponents on the schedule, but the actual win rate of 91.7% is higher than would be expected based on the individual game probabilities.

All of which is to say, it's impossible to never suffer an upset, but the Paladins have not been very prone to them.
Thanks. You would know.

About 80 tickets left available for the game tomorrow, if your going better get them now they could possibly be gone by midnight
If you're going.... not if your going. you're as if you are, your shows possession, your dog, your car etc. Sorry just a pet peeve. Forgive.

Its way way way to early to take any of this seriously, we could lose every game the rest of the year, nothing can be taken for granted. With that said, just for fun, Andy Katz lists Furman in his projections as of today as a #9 seed playing in Columbia

Like you said, way too early. Bracketology on ESPN has WC in as a 12 seed. FU not in.

Vegas has FU as a 12 point favorite on the road. Don't think we cover that but I will be happy with just a W.
1.Should be "twelve-point favorite". A compound adjective requires a hyphen. Lack of proper punctuation is a peeve of mine.
2. Requires future tense: "we will cover'. Use of the wrong tense is a peeve of mine.
2. Never use just a pronoun (Thank you, Dr. Stewart); "cover that" instead should be "cover that point spread" or better yet, "Don't think we will cover". Use as many words as necessary, but not one more. Using more words than is necessary is a peeve of mine.

Write simple sentences in the present tense.
