Lyons, Hunter 4 for 15 from 3. Rest of team 11 for 17. Pugh played well and was 3 for 3 behind the arc. Bothwell looking better each game.

I like how Lyons showed some discipline in laying off the desperation 3s after it was clear he wasn’t feeling it. Mounce 3-4 from 3. He’s really developing into a fantastic wing. Can shoot, can drive. Needs a bit of work on D but nit picking.

Pugh has a great stroke, as does Bothwell. Bothwell needs a little more seasoning.

Rafferty pressed a little tonite but great effort regardless.

Alex Hunter may be struggling w his outside shot, but he’s money when he takes it to the rim.

Glad to see Bob go a little deeper into the bench early tonite.

That 21-5 run we went on from the 9 min mark to the 4 min mark was a thing of beauty. I may want to watch that sequence again.

Good win. 9-0 We are going to get everyones best shot. After they cut it to 3, we outscored them 45-27.

We hit the first shot and never trailed. Much easier game than I thought it would be. Elon had one good run at us in the second half, Gurley hit a three and we proceeded to score 32 points in the next 7 minutes - best offensive stretch of the year.

Five players scored in double figures and two others finished with nine points. Love the balanced scoring.

That was Elon's second worst loss of the early season, behind their loss to North Carolina. Also only the second time they allowed more than 77 points.

Really liked the confidence Bothwell and Pugh played with. We need more threats to score from the guards.

If I was the coach I would get the team’s attention by telling them that their defense was TERRIBLE!

A win is a win is a win but lots of teams on our schedule will beat us if our defense doesn’t improve. I saw no intensity on defense.

At times still standing around on offense.

Kudos to Alex Hunter for a strong second half. Good shooting by Pugh.

I, for one, thought our defense was good tonight. Unlike previous games, this time it felt like all our guys were locked in, were pushing the opponent, and put up some smart and intense defense. Was I watching a different game?

With a comfortable lead in the last 5 minutes, I was expecting to see Schuck check in a little earlier and maybe score a bucket or two! I have a weak spot for our walk-ons and I just wish I could see him play more in these games!

“Furman is ranked and and permeates SportsCenter. I’m doing this like it was a regular highlight.” I took as he is surprised at Furman’s success, but having us on SportsCenter is becoming the norm.

His tone threw me and I also couldn't decipher what he said. I wasn't sure whether he was paying us a backhanded compliment or what. I'm going to go with your interpretation. I like SVP and want to keep it that way.
