The SoCon was not competitive today against yes some pretty good teams but absolutely getting killed is not good. WC, MU, and WCU were outscored 174-27. Tonight Citadel is losng to GSU 31-0 and UTC is losing 21-0 to UNA.
Add in Citadel34-0) and ETSU(49-3) games and the SoCon was outscored in their 5 FBS games today 257-30.
More bad SoCon news UTC took a 27-21 4th qtr lead and then got outscored 20-0 to lose 41-27 to UNA.
Of note. Una ran on UTC for 7 per carry. Wow. Bodes well.

It appears a N Alabama receiver Kenebrew had 172 yards receiving and 3 TD’s last night vs Chatt. Kenebrew did not play in their opening Mercer game.
It may be more likely that Mercer is bad, UNA worse and UTC dreadful. The Ole Miss game was silly.
Yep, the Bears gave Ole Miss all they wanted. SoCon was generous yesterday.

Yes Davy is in the non-scholarship Pioneer League yet they still get an auto bid which is stupid.
Speaking of WC they were totally dominated on offense: 126 yds of total offense, only had the ball fir 18+ minutes and ran only 36 plays. Their only score came with just over a minute left on a 75 yd pass play where their the WC receiver obviousky pushed off the Pitt defender but no call. Before that WC had 51 yds total offense.
