Sorry for a new thread but need an answer fairly quickly for friends. Can general public now park on the home side? I know they charge but didn’t they start back letting the general public park on the home side? Went on the ticket sight and could not find where you could purchase parking like you used to.

We purchased our parking on Ticketmaster. Same place as we did season pass. They have "zones" on the home side including in front of Timmons. The zones are each priced different.

I had to be logged in when I looked for and purchased tickets. Hope this helps if you are looking for a season parking pass.

If it is just single game on game day we parked on home side last year and paid cash right at the entrance. ($10)

Big Question is: Will Furman enforce permit parking?
Nobody was at the gate when I arrived.

I don't have a problem with charging to park, but have a separate entrance for that. Paladin Club members that pay a lot of money get stuck in a line that can stretch all the way back to Old Buncombe Rd.

I still say it cost more to have pay folks to collect money than is taken in collecting the money. Plus, like Palafan said, it slows down the traffic getting on to the campus.

Personally I think having a traffic problem getting to the game is a good thing! Attendance last night beat last years NG game with little help from the visitors. I will give away my little secret. Instead of coming in the stadium gate I come in the front gate, down to the Lay Center, turn right by the stadium, go to the top of the hill turn left down to the parking lot. Easy peasy! :D

Just like those metal detectors at the gate. Only had two detectors on the side I use. Line was backed up all the way to the top of Pearce-Horton, and I was early to the gate. I heard numerous beeps as I entered and no one was being checked again, including me.
