I don’t want to lose Bob to a “Drake”. If we do lose him eventually. (and I hope we do for all our sakes) I would hope it would be for a higher caliber program.

exactly. Drake is a friggin fowl, isnt it? Who wants to lose a coach to a duck?
Nothing wrong with Drake and Des Moines.

Nothing that $400K/Yr (and a nice arena) won't heal.

Amazing coaching job by Richey and his whole staff. Getting so many young players to play so well together this early in the season is truly remarkable. How does a small school with only Rivals 2 star recruits and mostly underclassmen beat a school like Villanova with all 4-5 star and Blue Chip recruits. Heck Villanova had a 5 star freshman recruit who didn't even play while Furman played several freshman 2 stars that contributed greatly to the victory.

It's all about playing fundamentally sound, unselfish team basketball. Thanks Richey for bringing back this type of basketball to Furman !
