Mercer has this one really big dude, like 7'2"... he's going to pack the lane no matter what so I think it's on Bothwell and Slawson and others to have to be smarter. I'm looking for Carter Whitt to take advantage of this
David Craig is the big guy. He is averaging only 14 minutes a game on the court - about 6 points and 4 rebounds per game. Before the conference schedule he was playing more but went to the bench most of the past two months. I don't know what his role will be tonight. In the last two games he played 14 minutes against Wofford and 19 minutes versus Western Carolina - both three point losses. The two games prior to those he played a total of 5 minutes against Chattanooga and Samford. Has Mercer's coach decided to give him some playing time now that they are probably set for playing on the first day of the tournament?

The Paladins hit over 62% from three point range in the first game. Does Mercer really want to pack the lane against us?

Prolly shouldn’t have mentioned the 62% shooting, means we’ll shoot 20-30% tonight. Just sayin’

C'mon guys. Turning it over like its Nov/Dec. Had 'em beat and letting them back in it.

Bad shot selection the last 8 minutes.

Don't forget Bothwell. He's hardly touched the ball the last 10 minutes of the half.

About Us

GoPaladins.com is the latest iteration of The Unofficial Furman Football Page. Launched in August of 1996, The UFFP welcomes fans of all FCS football teams - and fans of the more inferior sports, too - for discussion, cameraderie, and even the occasional smack talk.

For example, Furman has nearly twice as many Southern Conference football championships as the next best SoCon member, and over three times as many as The Citadel....which is why they must carry our luggage
