Citadel played great tonight. We were out hustled, outsmarted, out shot, out coached, and outplayed. What else can you say. We choked too.

Furman doesn't need to be the no. 1 seed
If we don’t start making free throws, nothing else is really gonna matter. Didn’t hurt us against Western, but killed us tonight.

Citadel had a ton of blocks inside against us. Thought maybe we were playing against Sampson and Olojuwon.

I was at the game. I agree with all you said. Coach Conroy came up with a brilliant defensive game plan that took us out of our rhythm after the first minutes. Their players were making big plays the entire game. We seemed to make no adjustments, and therefore the loss. It is as simple as that. I sure was hoping for the top seed going into the tournament, but it is not meant to be.
