Attendance was 6,199 so a new record at the Well, if you don’t count the couple of games with Clempson back in the day. ESPN was still showing the game at Timmons so I guess they are wondering how they got 6,200 peeps in a 2,500 seat arena, lol. FU covered the spread but almost didn’t when they fouled 3 point shooters twice in the last 2 minutes.
Correct. 6,584 was the attendance for the Clemson game in 1999: https://clemsontigers.com/122999aaa-html/

For the semifinals of the 2000 SoCon Tournament, I believe it may have crossed 10,000 when we played App State and Wofford played Charleston.
That Clemson game was not considered a Furman home game

Record for a Furman game was 14,879 12/26/98 the first game at the new Bi-Lo Center vs. Clempson which was considered a CU home game. 😳

Correct, so neither of those 2 games count as Furman home games

So the record for an FU home game was the 6,199 today against Wofftard

Yes, I was there, they should have never moved the tournament from Greenville.

FUBeAR was surprised by the Tearyers. For an NAIA program, they aren’t half bad.

FUBeAR could see them making a run in their Conference’s Tourney in Kingsport.

I am trying to find anything about our game yesterday on the G News website. Below is the message everyone gets when clicking on Sports News and then Furman. What went wrong is when the G News stopped covering Furman sports.

"OH SNAP!
Looks like something went wrong.

GO TO HOMEPAGE"
