Devizin is a legit back. He's a load.

Again, never is a team forced to play for a specific defensive result. I'm sure Hendrix is just going to worry about winning the game.

If Mercer scores 17 and Furman wins by 30, that's still impressive.

If we don't hold Mercer to 6 pts or less in second half, our season is history. Wofford would get autobid and ETSU would get at-large. A weak SOCON this year won't get three teams in

Concern here for Furman is to lose focus. The Paladins offense is doing what it needs to. Defense is playing well.

If we hold Mercer to 16, that's great. The first key is to win the football game.

Maybe the SoCon is down, but, frankly, the only team that really looks good nationally is NDSU.

I'm saying that allegations that the SoCon is "down" can be applied to every confernece. None of them have a dominant team except NDSU.

So, the SoCon essentially looks like everyone else's conference.

At bottom, if we miss the post season we can blame a miserable fourth quarter in Johnson City and not giving up 17 points to Mercer.

all on the line 2nd half.we win.we share the conference title .we win and hold mercer to 6 in the 2nd half,we get the automatic bid.even if we don't hold them to 16 I like our chances for the 2nd bid.we would finish 2nd in the points tie breaker.also I feel our decisive win vrs Wofford stacks up well vrs etsu's 2 point win over us.so let's just win and hold them to 6 and remove any doubt.
