Watched the game on replay. Wofford played like a team that wanted to win. A&M played like a team ready to open their Christmas presents and sit down for Christmas dinner. A&M played a mostly small lineup but had a major athletic advantage on the front line anyway but did not exploit their advantages. Both teams shot about the same percentages, but Wofford shot a lot more from the three point line and A&M missed 6 FTs (9-15)to Wofford's 0 misses (7-7.) Wofford trailed most of the game but stayed close enough to sneak into the lead very late and were able to hit FTs and hold on to it at the end. Fr. guard Jackson Paveletzke was the star for the Terriers with 22 points to lead their scoring in a low scoring game - 67-62 final, and he also was second in rebounding and first in assists. Paveletzke got them off to a decent start by scoring Wofford's first 9 points and finished the game by scoring Wofford's last 9 points.
