Great Win Today but I am disappointed in the previous two games. I am hopeful that the Furman team that played Today will show up when it matters the most!!

we have gotten to such a level that beating South Carolina is no big deal.....but it is for me.....Paladins looked great and played the way we know they can play..
it is a big deal for me too, especially since they are afraid to play us. Also, their fans make me sick. They are giving us no credit on their fan forums. To add to my pleasure, they beat another team that is scared to play us too. Go Paladins!

Have we earned an invite to this or another T-giving tourney next year?

IMHO I think so … the losses were exciting and closely contested. And we blew out a P5.

Plus outside of CofC and Va Tech, Furman had the third best fan base at the tourney

The loss to Penn St. is nothing to be disappointed in, we had a 3 rattle out that would have sent the game to overtime, where I believe we would have won.
Penn St. is a solid Power 5 BIG10 team this season, would have been great to pick-up that win, but was a good game regardless.
The ODU game however should have been a W ;)

Great win.

I think the loss of Alex Hunter has showed in the early going. Of course, his excellent three point shooting early last year really got us going but I his missing leadership at the point has been a part of our consistently slow starts before today. He was also a solid defender too.

This tournament had seven solid teams and South Carolina. The Gamecocks have some talent but most of their guys seem to be transfers or freshmen. It may take them awhile to get together on the same page.

WYFF had a 10 second segment on the game. Their angle? It was about USC losing a game to Furman, like we were unknown team from nowhere. Of course, our game was competing with the NFL, college football, and the Lady Gamecocks big game against Stanford. I don’t think we ever got any coverage from our victory over Belmont since we were competing against Friday night high school football. To their credit, they did give our football team some love for making the playoffs.

College of Charleston might dispute that.

I was expecting twitter highlights. Does anyone know why some haven't been uploaded?
