That was a big time win. Good to get some revenge from last year.

I admit I was nervous at half-time, but Belmont hit everything they shot in the first half and the game was tied so I figured they had to come back to earth. Coach also made some good defensive adjustments in the second half.

Every player that played contributed.

Couldn’t have said it better roundball. For those who attended how was attendance? From the livestream it looked to be a packed crowd.
Very good crowd

Only knock was no band there for some reason?
Band wasn’t there because of a symphonic band concert. But great spirit overall!

I look forward to our Program reaching a 'Big Time' level (hopefully soon) where the band has to schedule around the basketball home games in order to attend them all, always better to have them there

Great team effort. Slaw & Both did their usual fine job, but Hien was a difference-maker. He fueled Furman's 2nd Half breakaway in that sequence where he scored a lay-up, went down and blocked Belmont's shot, and capped it off with a 3-pointer. After a sketchy season last year he has become a player to be reckoned with.
