For those that are there, Slaw hurt his hand and we haven’t seen him since. Is he still on the bench? Discomfort? Ice? Or does he look ok?

He's just returned to the bench, but Dan says it doesn't look like he'll play anymore this game. Good that he's out of the trainer's room.

Was at the game, here are my takeaways:

- Unlike last year, it doesn’t look like our offense can rely on threes. We played a more versatile game this time, taking several mid range jumpers and dominating the paint. Of course this is only one game…

- Hope Slawson’s ok

- Ben Vanderwal looked REALLY good a lot of the time. Shows confidence and May very well be a future leader

- Carter Whitt was inconsistent, but locked it down the second half and had a couple nice passes

- It looked like our rebounding could have been better

Just one game though, good win 91-55. On to face Belmont!!

About Us

GoPaladins.com is the latest iteration of The Unofficial Furman Football Page. Launched in August of 1996, The UFFP welcomes fans of all FCS football teams - and fans of the more inferior sports, too - for discussion, cameraderie, and even the occasional smack talk.

For example, Furman has nearly twice as many Southern Conference football championships as the next best SoCon member, and over three times as many as The Citadel....which is why they must carry our luggage
