Interesting offer…
Furman has offered Nehuel Garcia of La Mirada, CA.
A tall, good-looking prospect has offers from ODU and Furman.
Curious how Furman is connected to him? He's following Justin Roper, and Roper played ball in the Pacific Northwest, so he must have some connections into Cali.

Highlights so far:

Raleigh apparently. There is a Cardinal Gibbons HS in Raleigh and another in Fort Lauderdale, but Shrine Bowl is NC vs SC.

Updated. With a note. Players do change their minds. All players below posted a commitment to Furman on their social media feeds. That said, a couple of these guys have gotten more offers, and I'm guessing there could be some flux.

1. Caldwell Bussey DE 6-3 245, Spain Park AL
2. David Alabi DE 6-2 240, Pickerington North OH
3. AK Burrell DB 6-0 190, Dutchtown, LA
4. Raleigh Herbert ILB 6-2 225, West Forsyth, GA
5. Ryan Earl OLB 6-2 225, Sharpsburg. GA
6. Brody Balliew OL 6-5 275, Calhoun, GA
7. Brock Chappell TE/LS 6-5 245, Holly Springs, NC

Offers AFTER a Player has committed to a different school on social media?

The horror!

Have the vile perpetrators been apprehended yet? We need to know if our streets are safe.

Also found this one. Got an offer from Furman on 10/16 and decommitted from Holy Cross today. Not sure why it’s saying sensitive material. It’s just the same diamond F logo and player picture that all these kids post when they get an offer.

Another commitment. 6’7”, 220 lbs TE

Had offers from Tulane, Georgia Southern, Austin Peay, Alabama St, Jackson St, and Navy. Furman offered him back in April.

This looks like an interesting pickup for Furman. He appears to have played 8 man home school league football for most of his career, and then, I guess, transferred to a larger 11 man program.

GoPaladins.com is the latest iteration of The Unofficial Furman Football Page. Launched in August of 1996, The UFFP welcomes fans of all FCS football teams - and fans of the more inferior sports, too - for discussion, cameraderie, and even the occasional smack talk.

For example, Furman has nearly twice as many Southern Conference football championships as the next best SoCon member, and over three times as many as The Citadel....which is why they must carry our luggage
