FUBeAR wants a Top 8 seed in the Playoffs…ideally Top 4…aspirationally, Top 2.
At 10-1, with only a loss to a Top Ranked FBS and/or an SEC Team, a SoCon Team deserves a Top 4 Seed.
These BS Polls, which FUBeAR believes are weighted VERY heavily by the Playoff Committee, can/will prevent SoCon Teams from getting the seeds that dramatically impact playoff results and also prevent SoCon Teams from receiving At-Large bids…which are both then used to justify not ranking SoCon Teams (properly) in the following years’ Preseason polls…and so it goes.

If Furman beats Samford this weekend, and Kennesaw State loses to Jacksonville State (likely), then Furman will get docked in the polls because Samford's top 10 win over KSU will look less impressive every week.
Voters will fall over themselves to shove some CAA team up the rankings.
Furman has been their own worst enemy with the polls in recent history. Granted the current ranking system is a joke! When we have been ranked we fail to win consistently and fall out. Take care of business every week and we will be fine.
