Kick the damn FG!!

I'd have preferred the field goal, but it's a one point game. So, not a huge risk to go for it.

Remember too, Furman substitutes a bunch more than ETSU does. Interesting to see how that plays out in the second half.

Harris is going to be a great player for us, but he's had a few third downs where he's running routes short of the sticks.

Twice we have completed 3rd down passes a yard or two short of the marker. Sound familiar?

So we get skeered and punt from midfield and gain 12 yards on the punt,

It's the right call.

Other than the completely blown coverage on the TD. The defense has played well.

The only thing really bothering me is that ETSU plays a ton of close games and they are really good at winning them late.

There we go.

ETSU starting to look a little tired defensively. Their pass rush isn't getting nearly as close as it was early.

We need to keep throwing to the middle until they stop it. Nice TD.

I think their pass rush has stopped getting much pressure.

They are obviously concerned with Miller because we aren't even throwing to him.

Those last two drives it looked like we took Gissinger off and put Anderson back on. ETSU was struggling a bit with the spread passing game.

Huff is just misfiring on some easier passes. Just a little off target.

He's had Miller wide open several times and just a little in front of him.

That was a quick 3 and out. Not what we needed.

On a positive note, the passes are open. Huff has time. Receivers are open. Just gotta make the throw.

Still can’t get off the field on third down.

GoPaladins.com is the latest iteration of The Unofficial Furman Football Page. Launched in August of 1996, The UFFP welcomes fans of all FCS football teams - and fans of the more inferior sports, too - for discussion, cameraderie, and even the occasional smack talk.

For example, Furman has nearly twice as many Southern Conference football championships as the next best SoCon member, and over three times as many as The Citadel....which is why they must carry our luggage
