I got a little excited about Nebraska losing again this week, but found out the game was against North Dakota, not North Dakota State.

Don’t be surprised with a close Mercer at Auburn game.
Thanks for catching my error. I apologize for it.

As of today 9/6/2022, here is how Sagarin football ratings rank the bottom half (17) of the 34 conferences' ratings:

18 CONF-USA
(all the top half [17] are FBS conferences; CUSA is the only FBS conference in the bottom half; all the remaining bottom half are FCS; therefore, SoCon is #4 of 16 FCS conferences, similar to how Big Ten East is #4 of 18 FBS conferences)
19 MISSOURI VALLEY
20 BIG SKY
21 ASUN
22 SOUTHERN
23 IVY LEAGUE
24 WAC
25 COLONIAL (home of both William & Mary and Delaware, who have wins against FBS this season)
26 SOUTHLAND
27 OHIO VALLEY
28 BIG SOUTH
29 PATRIOT
30 SWAC-WEST
31 SWAC-EAST
32 NORTHEAST
33 MID-EASTERN
34 PIONEER
And as of today, FBS conferences rank as follows, per Sagarin:
1 SEC-WEST
2 BIG 12
3 SEC-EAST
4 BIG TEN-EAST
5 PAC-12 SOUTH
6 PAC-12 NORTH
7 ACC-ATLANTIC
8 BIG TEN-WEST (A) = 75.21 75.65 ( 8) 7 75.56 ( 8)
9 ACC-COASTAL
10 AAC
11 MAC-WEST
12 SUN BELT EAST
13 MWC-MOUNTAIN
14 MWC-WEST
15 I-A IND.
16 MAC-EAST
17 SUN BELT WEST
18 CONF-USA

Scalp number 2. Delaware 14 Navy 7
Time for someone to update the FCS programs that got FBS scalps yesterday.
I know that Holy Cross beat Buffalo in an interesting end.
I also know that Nevada lost to Incarnate Word, and that Eastern Kentucky beat Bowling Green in 7 (seven) overtimes.
Coastal Carolina at home nearly got beat by Gardner-Webb.
Hopefully someone will provide scores and perhaps other details of the above and of any other scalps from yesterday.
