Jaylon Pugh is transferring to Lander, Ben Beeker is going to Carson Newman.
Rayshon Harrison is transferring from Presbyterian to Grand Canyon U.

Luis Hurtado, Jr. a 6'6" wing is transferring to Mercer from Bryant where he was a two year starter. Hurtado only averaged about 4 ppg and 4 rebs. at Bryant but he lead the team in assists at 3.7 per game and hit 31% of his threes. Last year he hit 47% of his threes. Hurtado is from Merida, Venezuela. Bryant went to the NCAA tournament this season for the first time ever. They lost to Wright State in a First Four match-up. Interesting offer sheet in HS - only about 8 schools, but they included Georgia, Florida State, Maryland and Southern Cal. His second transfer. It appears he originally signed with UAB. Hurtado will be 25 years old next season.

so true... Dins need somebody that is better than producing the player tied for most 3s in a game and the #1 efficient shooter in NCAA!

Imagine what could be done with a "real" shooting coach :)

Hayden Brown is transferring to South Carolina. His former Citadel teammate Jason Roche is going to Richmond .
Nick Martinelli , who decomitted from Elon after their coach left, will sign with Northwestern instead

Chattanooga is getting Jamal Johnson, 6'4" shooter from UAB. Johnson is a real traveling man. He started his career at Memphis. After one season there he went to Auburn for two years then to UAB last season. Now on to the Mocs. His best season was 20-21 at Auburn when he scored 9.4 ppg. He has been a specialist. He has hit about 37% of his threes over the past three seasons. He doesn't shoot a lot of FTs, or get rebounds, assists or steals. But he has been consistent behind the arc at every stop. Chattanooga has also made an offer to Devin Carney.

Davidson has also started recruiting Carney. With their signing of transfers David Skogman and Connor Kochera -both guys Furman was after when they were in HS - I wonder if Bob McKillop has decided to use the Wofford recruiting playbook - see who Furman is after to identify the talent.

Another mediocre 1 year signing by UTC, guy only got 4ppg at UAB this past season, there were about 9 other guys on that team with better numbers
Let's hope that kid going to UTC who will be at his 4th school winds up with a least one degree from somewhere, I would not be surprised however to find out that he never graduates from anywhere

Max Klesmit is transferring from Wofford to Wisconsin. No surprise. He is from Wisconsin but didn't get get an offer from them in HS. Most of his offers in HS were from D2 schools. Wofford was probably his best offer.

Chattanooga is gaining Dalvin White, a 5'10 PG, as a grad transfer from USS-Upstate. White appears to be a multi-year starter who scored about 9 ppg and has about 4 assists per game while hitting about 38% of his threes this year. The Mocs are losing 6'9' freshman Jacob Radaker who doesn't seem to have played one minute there. He transferred to UTC from Navy where he also doesn't appear to have played either.

Fardaws Aimaq the 6'11" transfer from Utah Valley who was one of the top transfers has chosen Texas Tech. Aimaq started at Mercer but left after one season for Utah Valley where he lead the NCAA in rebounding and was named WAC player of the year .

UTC with another desperation mediocre pickup, getting a player from usc-upstate that only has 1 year left and averaged only 8ppg this year for upstate won't get them very far.
They are going to lose 6-8 players again next season and have to do this same song and dance yet again.

Colin Kenney is tranferring to D2 Lewis Univ. in Romeoville, Il.

UNCG has signed 6'8 220 soph. Mikeal Brown-Jones as a transfer from VCU. He averaged 11 minutes per game and 4 ppg and 2.6 rebs this season.
ETSU has added transfer Brock Jancek 6'8" 222 soph. from Tennessee. Jancek played a total of 11 minutes this season for the Vols.

Brevin Galloway , guard from Anderson the Paladins tried to recruit awhile back, is making his second transfer. He is leaving Boston College for Clemson. He originally signed and played at College of Charleston but followed his coach when Earl Grant left CofC for BC. Next year will be his 6th year of college. His older brother Braden was a football player who played tight end for Clemson - 2018-21. Galloway averaged about 8 ppg for BC and was second on the team in threes made.

About Us

GoPaladins.com is the latest iteration of The Unofficial Furman Football Page. Launched in August of 1996, The UFFP welcomes fans of all FCS football teams - and fans of the more inferior sports, too - for discussion, cameraderie, and even the occasional smack talk.

For example, Furman has nearly twice as many Southern Conference football championships as the next best SoCon member, and over three times as many as The Citadel....which is why they must carry our luggage
