You might want to adopt Mercer or Samford as your SoCon Baseball Team. They both knocked off #10 Florida State in extra innings this week.

FUBeAR went to the SoCon Baseball Tournament last year and adopted WCU cuz they were the only purple Team in the Tourney. Really enjoyed cheering ‘my’ 4th seeded Team on as they knocked the #1 seeded Tearyiers out of the bracket & sent ‘em whining back to SparkleCity. Tough loss to Samford in the finals on Sunday for ‘my’ Cats, but there were plenty of nearby brewpubs to help me in drowning my purple-hearted sorrows.

The 2022 Southern Conference Baseball Tournament will be held from May 24 through May 29 at Fluor Field at the West End in Greenville, South Carolina. Hope to be there again this Spring. Maybe FUBeAR will adopt 2 Teams this year…cuts my chances of further heartache by half!

Was great to be in the house tonight as our lady Paladins made a great (and rare) comeback to advance in the SoCon tourney in Asheville. Woffy handled ETSU rather handily. It'll be a tough rematch tomorrow afternoon.

Great Furman atmosphere in Asheville as the Lady Dins whooped the flopping Wofford women in a very tight game today. Big games by Hodges, James & Walters put FU in the final tomorrow. Mercer had a big crowd. Let’s match them.

Question for somebody - if u pay for the Womens final game, do you also pay for the men's game?

The ladies final is at noon on Sunday: Furman vs Mercer. Mercer did have a very enthusiastic crowd. They’ll sure show up for their men’s game against us, presuming they beat Western tonight.

GoPaladins.com is the latest iteration of The Unofficial Furman Football Page. Launched in August of 1996, The UFFP welcomes fans of all FCS football teams - and fans of the more inferior sports, too - for discussion, cameraderie, and even the occasional smack talk.

For example, Furman has nearly twice as many Southern Conference football championships as the next best SoCon member, and over three times as many as The Citadel....which is why they must carry our luggage
