This game is a perfect example of why we have no chance in the tournament. We are unable to match the other teams intensity when they come to play. Of course we do not finsh games well either evidenced by losing 10 winnable games down the stretch. We MIGHT win one game but thats the limit. Looking more and more like a 3rd place finish. I could see Sammy winning at UTC Saturday and the ‘dins losing at Citadel as they will be sky high. Really doesn’t matter where we finish. There are 2 teams that have no chance to win the tournament. WCU because they are not good and FU because they are FU.

Wish we could have student body support that Samfart has. Much better home court advantage than we have most games.

I saw a no-quit attitude in this team, but our interior D put us in too big of a hole.
A very piss poor effort tonight. Gave up 49 the first game, they almost doubled that tonight of course with Glover. A 20 win season is in serious jeooardy. 2-4 the last 6 games. Not the way you want to end the season. We have now lost to every team in the SoCon except WCU and Citadel and it will prolly only be WCU after Saturday.

When we don't shoot well we lose...just what it is. We don't have confidence shooting and poor shooting affects our defense.

Yes we have to shoot well to win. I went to watch Augusta U tonight. They’ve shot horribly two games in a row, but when it happens to them they just pass it in to their 7’-1” center and let him do the scoring so they are 24-3 and 12th in DII. Sure would be nice to develop that option some year. But until then we can just hope to go on a hot streak.

Think back just 3 short weeks ago. We were rolling and my admittedly pessimistic self really started to believe this team was gonna be special. Then the nosedive. Silly me, should have known better. If we could somehow get to 20 wins maybe we could go to the CBI? Citadel should be favored Saturday.
