We would likely have weakness at the five if Slawson leaves unless we see a lot of development from the current crop of bigs. But I think we look very good at the other positions. If Foster makes another improvement like he did from year to year this season, he will be a star. Pegues and Hughey both have loads of potential and Joe Anderson does a great job at the point. Repass and Willams have strong, athletic bodies as does Kenny and could well improve year to year. Then there's the freshman and hopefully some surprises among our current big men. Perhaps another grad transfer out there like Garrison..... but 7 or 8 inches taller?

You’d think if Furmanoid followed the men’s basketball program close enough, he’d realize that this is a DEVELOPMENTAL program. Think Furmanoid was also the same one who thought there was no way we’d be competitive or score enough points to replace Mounce and Gurley.

Imagine that, our coaches and staff know exactly how to do their job so we still compete at a high level every single year.

The thing about programs focused on development is there's a constant pipeline of "next man up."

The next great Paladin contributors, I'm sure, are already on the roster.

Role Models for Slaw and MB with 1 year of eligibility left. 1. Clay Mounce turned pro. 2. Noah Gurley transferred. 3. Alex Hunter returned to FU for final year. Hope both Slaw and MB follow AH and come back. As CRB says, Grow where you are planted.

Noah Gurley graduated and turned pro at Alabama.
