Is it too soon to declare the SoCon a 2 team race?
Not too soon. The next two teams in terms of quality (Wofford and VMI) both have 5 losses already and plenty of tough games remaining.

One could make the case, however, that the regular season title isn't overly important. The Paladins are already projected as an NIT at-large selection, and while locking it down is marginally better, realistically Furman fans want in the NCAA tourney and would not be thrilled about the NIT.

Also, it's in Furman's interest that Chattanooga get an at-large bid if the Paladins win the SoCon tourney (since establishing the possibility of at-large SoCon bids would significantly benefit the Paladins). If the Mocs don't lose to anyone except Furman the rest of the way, that would be a possibility (albeit far from certain).

Pre-Season SoCon POY Hayden Brown was injured and didn’t play most of the game today for the bellhops. Could be a long night for cit if he doesn’t play.
Took a knee to the thigh. Can’t see how that would make him miss the last 30 mins. of the game. He will be ready Wednesday.

Speaking for myself, if the guys took an NIT run far enough to get to MSG I'd be rather thrilled about that.

Congrats Citadel, you average 900 people per home game this season, good enough for dead last in the SoCon
