All that matters in this scenario is what goes down in AVL in March....and we all know that anything can happen up there.

Not completely true. There is an auto bid to the NIT on the line for the regular season championship.

I agree. Also, it shouldn’t be discounted that the regular season champion gets the best game times, starting with a noon game on Saturday, and the earlier game time on Sunday. Those extra hours of rest add up over a long three day tournament.

And a banner in the arena is always nice! I guarantee everyone with the program would love a regular season title.

Nice story on channel 4 tonight about the game tomorrow night. All about WC though, interviewed their coach and players. 🤬

They focused on Furman Thursday night, interviewing Coach Richey and Alex Hunter.

Biggest game of the year! A win at Woffy would really be nice. But it's gonna be a war and it's gonna be a typical road game...ie... tough, refs against us, etc.

I'm sure Slawson, Hunter, and Bothwell are tired of losing to the Teariers and they will come to play.

Go Paladins!

I'm aware of all of these...and appreciate them as much as the next person. I was merely making an observation from the perspective of making the NCAA Tournament...which, I think we all would agree, is the main goal and what's alluded the program to the frustration of most die-hard fans (myself included).

Live or die by Defense. We started out winning the boards, but seems Wofford has gotten all the 2nd chances, since.

GoPaladins.com is the latest iteration of The Unofficial Furman Football Page. Launched in August of 1996, The UFFP welcomes fans of all FCS football teams - and fans of the more inferior sports, too - for discussion, cameraderie, and even the occasional smack talk.

For example, Furman has nearly twice as many Southern Conference football championships as the next best SoCon member, and over three times as many as The Citadel....which is why they must carry our luggage
