see how we do in the second half - Great OL ! - but where is that vaunted D??? Yep. We need to play running teams. Finally play a passing team and this is gonna be in the 40s.. The quick throw offense is still a bugaboo for us.. VMI may present trouble for us
We have always been better at run D than pass D - I do like the 4 / 5 man blitz (not a full 6(?) man blitz which allowed the screen pass). Get a little pressure - need to get the QB on the ground. Let's see what happens w pass D in second half. If we win 45-42 because we ran all over them that's good but we have to learn to defend the pass

Dominic Roberto has 134 yds rushing at the half.
We’ve never been able to stop a passing team. but really who does? They have 20 yds rushing and 210 passing at half.
Can anyone tell what our defensive adjustments were at half time?
Lets rephrase - we don't have a Great Defense. We have a Great RUN Defense. Throw it more than 60% and we start to give up points...

FUMBLE!! WCU killing themselves with turnovers. They had driven 35 yards from their own goal line after muffed kick off. Nice job by the Paladins converting turnover into a score.
Honestly both teams are about Equal.. WCU is killing themselves. Glad to win - IF we win - but I want to see better pass D from us
